Kevin Neaves

Yamaha Maple Custom Drums,
Zildjan, Paiste & Sabian Cymbals
and Taylor Acoustic Guitar.

Kevin served his apprenticeship as a sporty* fresh faced teenager playing in dance and big bands - learning to read drum music to the tunes of Woody Herman and Glenn Miller.

Influenced by Barriemore Barlow (Jethro Tull), Andy Ward (Camel) and Pierre Van Der Linden (Focus) he later toured with various rock bands before guesting on Shave the Monkey's second album 'Dragonfly'.

John Cleese taught him to play the flute during one episode of Monty Python Flying Circus and unable to practice drums in the comfort of his own home decided to learn guitar - a sample of which can be heard on "Tune for a mop Fair" on the album 'Mad Arthur'

The only single member of the band, kevin dreams of falling in love with a blue eyed, leggy, long blonde haired, slim cellist. So if you are female and fit the bill, please contact the band. Short dark haired bombard players also considered.

*Ed's note - sporty should read spotty.
